charming old style, convenient metro access, nearby grocery stores
Rooms need an urgent update with modern furnishings!!! Unpleasant odors linger throughout, especially in the towels and carpets. Improve cleaning frequency to ensure a welcoming environment for guests and consider better staff training for guest interactions!!!

Great Location and Charming Atmosphere
The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the sights and enjoy nearby fantastic restaurants. I loved the historical charm and antique details that gave a unique feel to my stay, and the spacious hallways were a bonus. However, the reception staff could have been more welcoming, as they seemed unenthusiastic and not very friendly.

The good outweighs the bad (barely)
Convenient central location and luxurious accommodations enhance the experience,,, with exceptional cleanliness and attentive staff ensuring comfort.
Old furnishings show their age, and rude security left a sour taste in an otherwise pleasant stay.

Had an amazing time with friends. The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to walk to major theaters and museums. We really loved exploring the nearby Patriarch Ponds and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere. The deluxe room was comfortable, and the housekeeping service was top-notch. Breakfast was decent, and the bar on the rooftop was a nice touch. Highly recommend this place!
The reception staff could use some improvement. They seemed unenthusiastic and not very welcoming.

The stunning Stalinist architecture of Peking had me reminiscing of a glorious bygone era. I adored the charming antique details throughout, and the spacious hallways made it easy for me to navigate without any hassle.
More comfortable seating in the lobby would help.

I recently enjoyed a week at the Peking in Moscow. The deluxe double room truly matched the description. Spacious, elegantly appointed with fresh bottles of water daily. Loved the clean aesthetics and luxurious feel. The breakfast buffet impressed with its variety, but at Ru 1200 per person, it felt pricey. I appreciated how close the hotel is to Mayakovskaya metro station, but arrived via the Tchaikovsky concert hall exit for easy access. Nearby, the Cafe Tchaikovsky offered a decent buffet at about half the price. However, it only opened at 9 a.m. and was closed on weekends. Found a good Russian-style cafeteria just a station away. A convenient spot for quick meals, bustling with locals. On the flip side, I wished for a more comfortable lobby area. The seating felt cramped, especially during peak hours. Overall, the Peking gave me a taste of historical charm with modern conveniences, but some adjustments could elevate the experience further.

The Superior Double Room was decent, though the bed linens had red stains and required changing. The doorkeeper provided warm hospitality, which was a nice touch. However, the security staff was overly cautious, asking if we were guests upon arrival. The location is excellent, just steps away from the metro, and the fresh, made-from-scratch pizza in the dining area was a standout. This hotel has potential but needs some updates.
