The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the sights and enjoy nearby fantastic restaurants. I loved the historical charm and antique details that gave a unique feel to my stay, and the spacious hallways were a bonus. Loved the clean aesthetics and luxurious feel. The breakfast buffet impressed with its variety, but at Ru 1200 per person, it felt pricey. I appreciated how close the hotel is to Mayakovskaya metro station, but arrived via the Tchaikovsky concert hall exit for easy access. Nearby, the Cafe Tchaikovsky offered a decent buffet at about half the price. However, it only opened at 9 a.m. and was closed on weekends. Found a good Russian-style cafeteria just a station away. A convenient spot for quick meals, bustling with locals. On the flip side, I wished for a more comfortable lobby area. The seating felt cramped, especially during peak hours. Overall, the Peking gave me a taste of historical charm with modern conveniences, but some adjustments could elevate the experience further.
